To the Implementers, Field Staff, and Development Professionals: This wasn’t your failure, but you deserve better tools for what comes next.
In March 2025, USAID was dismantled. Not in name, but in function.Overnight, thousands of essential services and much-needed development activities were halted.Aid frozen. Contracts shredded. Partnerships and careers ended. Trust gutted.
We built Clearwater Global in response to that world.
Not the world of dashboards and logframes.
But the world where local teams are left holding the line, with fewer resources, no clear guidance, and no infrastructure that listens when it matters.
We knew this system was fragile. What we didn’t expect was how quickly it would unravel.
What Clearwater Global Does
Clearwater is a deployable AI engine that flags misalignment between reported and actual field conditions.
We analyze:
Reports, proposals, and transcripts
Voice memos and WhatsApp chats
Field surveys and grantee updates
Then we surface:
Risk signals
Gaps between intent and outcome
Community voice that often goes unheard
Everything is reviewed by humans, because AI without context is just automation.
Who This Is For
We built Clearwater for the people the old system left behind:
Local organizations now flying blind after funding cuts
Funders who want to act on truth, not spin
MEL professionals who want to track what’s real, not just what’s written
Our Ethos
We believe that data should listen to people, not the other way around
We believe that trust can’t be automated, but it can be supported
We believe the next wave of global development must be more honest, more adaptive, and more human
Clearwater isn’t a replacement for USAID. It’s a response to what happens when systems collapse and people still need to act.
What’s Next
We’re onboarding early partners now.
Let’s build something new. Together.
