Why we built this
A funding decision in a complex place carries risk the proposal never shows: the clinic that has to stay open, the partner who has to hold real authority, the supply chain that has to reach the last mile.
We know those stakes because we have carried them. We have delivered at the last mile, run the portfolios, and signed off on the money.
This had to be built by people who have been accountable for the outcome. So we built it.

Clearwater Global was founded by Jackie Brock and Travis Guymon, former USAID Foreign Service Officers with decades of experience where capital, policy, and good intentions meet the realities of delivery.
Our work spans humanitarian response, livelihoods, climate and natural-resource management, private-sector engagement, and partnerships across complex operating environments.
We built VERA and VERDICT as intentional AI: tools that turn hard-won field knowledge, institutional evidence, and local context into a clearer view of what must hold for a plan to work.
The goal is not to automate judgment, but to make the questions, tradeoffs, and risks visible, accountable, and defensible
